The summer holidays are here and Watford has some amazing events for all ages to take part in. The Big Screen returns to Watford Town centre from Monday 3 August to Sunday 9 August 2026 and then it heads to Woodside from Monday 10 August to Sunday 16 August. Watford Carnival returns on Saturday 8 August to Radlett Road Playing Fields. A vibrant celebration organized by Mojo Fusion Ltd CIC, dedicated to promoting sociocultural interaction, supporting local businesses, and fostering unity through shared experiences.

Wat's On Summer has been kicking off and will run throughout the summer. They provide activities and events throughout the summer holidays for children aged 5 to 15 years. Sessions take place across Watford in parks, open spaces and some indoor venues.

These sessions offer arts & crafts activities, sports, adventure playground, coding or learn to strut the boards at stage or film school! Staying with our parks Herts Summer Parks are taking over King George V Playing Fields. This is an initiative aimed at plugging the gap in provision for 12- to 16-year-olds across Hertfordshire during the summer holiday period.
