Accessibility Statement for Watford Actually

This statement applies to www.watfordactually.com

Watford Actually is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites

and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the

non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

  • The website does not reflow correctly at 400% zoom, requiring both horizontal and vertical scrolling

  • Content within dropdown menus overflows the screen at high zoom and cannot be scrolled

  • Content triggered on hover or focus cannot be dismissed easily or reliably

  • Poor colour contrast on hover across multiple interactive elements, including form error messages

  • Missing accessible text on icons and buttons, including navigation and video controls

  • Keyboard focus is not visible on certain interactive elements

  • Some buttons and icons are too small or closely spaced

  • Some links are not descriptive, not visible to screen readers, or do not receive keyboard focus

We are actively working to address these issues and improve accessibility across the site.
