Watford Colosseum – World-Class Acts in an Iconic Setting
The Colosseum was refurbished in 2025 but remains rich in character; hosting everything from family shows and touring theatre to chart-topping artists and stand-up comedy. With top-tier acoustics and flexible staging, it’s a go-to for big nights out and headline entertainment.It is also renowned internationally as a recording venue, with its acoustics used for some of cinema’s most iconic soundtracks including The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and The Sound of Music. These superb tracks reflect the Colosseum’s place not only as a local landmark, but as a venue of global cultural significance.

Rifco Theatre Company
Based at Watford Palace Theatre, Rifco Theatre Company is one of the UK’s leading touring companies, creating bold and accessible productions that celebrate British South Asian experiences. From musicals like Britain’s Got Bhangra to contemporary plays, Rifco brings diverse stories to the stage and nurtures new talent through its associate programmes, ensuring Watford remains a hub for inclusive and innovative theatre.
