Ready for an autumn wardrobe refresh? 🍂

The summer is winding down, the evenings are getting cooler and it might be time to admit that some of those summer clothes probably aren’t getting another outing this year. But before you shove them to the back of the wardrobe, why not swap them for something new?

As part of Recycle Week, the Clothes Swap is coming to Watford Palace Theatre on Saturday 19 September, giving you the chance to refresh your wardrobe without spending a penny!

From 10am to 11am, bring along up to 10 good-quality, adult-sized clothes that you no longer wear. For every item you bring, you’ll receive a token to spend when the swapping begins.

Then, from 11am to midday, you can return to browse the rails and exchange your tokens for some new-to-you pieces. Whether you’re looking for an autumn staple or just fancy trying something different, you never know what gems you might find!

It’s a great way to save money, reduce textile waste and give your pre-loved clothes a new lease of life.

Just make sure anything you bring is clean and in good condition, as items that are stained, damaged or need repairing won’t be accepted. Children’s clothes, shoes, underwear, swimwear, nightwear and accessories are also not part of the swap.
