Just over a month until the Watford Fringe returns for it's 10th year!
A decade of local, national and international comedy, drama, art and all sorts of fun things have been entertaining our town for the Watford Fringe Festival.
The festival will kick off on Saturday 4 July 2026 at Pondside event space on The Parade with support from Watford Town Centre, Watford Borough Council and Watford Pumphouse Theatre & Arts Centre. A free day event from 3pm to 9pm showcasing a range of performances for all the family.
Over the course of July venues across Watford will see returning and brand new acts take to stages for your entertainment. For a full list of what's on and where to buy tickets please see their website: https://watfringe.co.uk/

Ten years of Watford Fringe is such a milestone, and that free opening day at Pondside sounds like the perfect way to kick things off. I love that they’re mixing local acts with international ones—it really gives the town a proper cultural boost every July. Speaking of testing things out, I’ve been fiddling with my laptop’s trackpad lately to make sure it’s not acting up before I try to book tickets online, and a quick mouse scroll test helped me rule out any hardware gremlins. Anyway, here’s hoping the weather holds up for the outdoor bits—see you at the Parade!
I teach 4th grade and a crossword is my go-to sub plan, made a 15-clue grid with the kids crossword generator on our spelling-week vocab and it fits on a single page without me reformatting.
Clue hinting could use a bit of work but I just rewrite those myself.
