Oxhey Park, nestled along the River Colne, offers a peaceful escape with walking and cycling paths for leisurely strolls, play areas, and a modern skate park. The area is also rich in wildlife.
The 'hidden gem' Cheslyn House and Gardens features diverse plants, a woodland area, a pond, and a rock garden, where you and your family can explore and relax.
Watford also has other great parks, like Woodside Playing Fields with sports facilities, as well as Harebreaks, and Harwoods, both ideal for playground fun and family activities.
You can visit many of the town's parks via the 'Green Loop', a 6.5 mile continuous cycling and walking route encircling the town centre. It combines the town’s vibrant urban landscape, with its serene open spaces and heritage sites.
