Pride in Watford
Watford is a town with diversity as a strength.
With June being international LGBTQ+ month, there are a number of events happening across our borough. See below for a collection of some of the highlights.
Friday 5 June 2026 | 11am–3pm
Charter Place, Harlequin Watford
Hosted with Proud Watford and Proud Hornets, the Museum of Watford - The MoW team will lead a creative workshop where you can explore objects reflecting Watford’s LGBTQ+ history and create artworks to contribute to a collective community display.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome! The Museum on Tour programme has been made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery Players.

Watford’s Pump House Theatre is proud to host The Dial Up Open Mic Pride Month Special! Hosted at our favourite - Tina Lake's Coffee & Cakes, this is a FREE EVENT in celebration of Pride Month and the unseen talent across our town.

A Place Without Prejudice: Artworks 2026

A Place Without Prejudice: Artworks 2026 features thirteen original works by Watford artists, each offering their own interpretation of what it means to live, love, and belong in a place truly without prejudice.

Herts Pride

Falling during Hertfordshire's pride month, Herts Pride returns to Cassiobury with a day of celebration and inclusion for everyone.
