For over 35 years, HVA’s growing membership of professionals, amateurs and hobbyists has been at the centre of the thriving and energetic visual arts landscape in Hertfordshire. It promotes, supports and co-ordinates artists, galleries, community projects and exhibitions. Run by volunteers, it’s completely focussed on making the visual arts accessible, vibrant and enjoyable.

A friendly and relaxed art session run on Tuesdays 10am – 2pm in the Charles Room. Suitable for all levels from doodles to masterpieces! Only pay £5 for the sessions you attend. Located in the Charles Room, at the Pumphouse Theatre, come and enjoy a vibrant and inclusive creative space that you can enjoy over a coffee and cake. As well as tasty refreshments and friendly volunteers ready to chat, you can also take in the current art exhibition on display in our dedicated gallery. The gallery also hosts workshops and Tuesday evening drawing classes.
