Love being outdoors and want to make a real difference to your local environment? Join Groundwork East for a hands-on River Colne Volunteer Day at Oxhey Park.

Whether you're a seasoned conservation volunteer or looking to try something new, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in protecting and restoring the River Colne, one of the UK's rare chalk streams.

Choose from a range of activities throughout the afternoon, including tree maintenance to support river restoration, berm maintenance in the river itself, and a Riverfly survey demonstration where you can learn about the fascinating species that help indicate river health.

Volunteer for one session or stay for the whole afternoon. All equipment will be provided, and you'll be supported by experienced staff throughout.
