Expect magic, mischief and music when Cambridge Touring Productions come to Cassiobury Park with a FREE outdoor theatre performance of The Sword in the Stone.

Young Wart dreams of becoming a squire, while his childhood friend Morgan sets her sights on fame and fortune. Along the way, they meet a host of colourful characters who guide them through adventures and teach them lasting lessons about friendship, courage, and finding their way in the world.

Before the free performance of The Sword in the Stone, children aged 5–10 can take part in a fun, interactive drama workshop where they’ll meet the actors, learn songs from the show and discover the characters they’ll see on stage, perfect preparation for stepping into the story of Young Wart and Morgan before the adventure begins. 

The workshop takes place ahead of the performance and costs £2 per child, feel free to come dressed as a Knight, Princess, King or Queen, bring a picnic, chair or rug, and enjoy the experience with doors opening at 2pm and the show starting at 3pm.
