Free creative heritage workshops for people living with dementia.
Discover Watford's rich history through creativity, conversation and shared memories at a series of free, welcoming workshops designed for people living with dementia and their carers.
Inspired by the exciting Museum of Watford, made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Find, these creative heritage sessions will explore the stories, people and places that have shaped Watford over the years. Through reminiscence, hands-on art activities and group discussion, participants will have the opportunity to celebrate local heritage, make new connections and enjoy a creative experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Whether you have lived in Watford all your life or are discovering its history for the first time, everyone is welcome.
The sessions will run from 10:30am to 12:30pm and will be held at CathARTic CIC, Oak Yard (rear of 131-133 Queens Road, Watford, WD17 2QP)
